Black Styles Matter

  • Black Styles Matter

"Black Styles Matter" is a homage to African culture, Black bodies, and the influence of Afro-inspired fashion. Traditionally, Western styles have dominated professional spaces, shaping the standard for workplace attire. With this campaign, I aimed to challenge these norms and highlight the elegance, versatility, and sophistication of African fashion in professional settings.

This project is a celebration of Black beauty, embracing the richness of our hair, bold patterns, and textured accessories as integral expressions of identity. Black Styles Matter serves as a reminder that we should feel empowered to authentically express our cultural roots and heritage, even in spaces that have historically discouraged it.

The campaign was exclusively composed of African brands from Mozambique, featuring Kaia (bags) and other designs that reflect the artistry and craftsmanship of the continent. Through this initiative, I sought to redefine perceptions of professionalism, elevate African fashion, and affirm that cultural expression belongs in every space.

Versatility of a Woman

  • Versatility of a Woman,  explores the multifaceted nature of Black womanhood—celebrating its strength, elegance, resilience, and adaptability.

As the Creative Director and Producer, my role was to bring this vision to life, ensuring that every element of the shoot embodied the depth and dynamic essence of Black femininity.

The narrative unfolds across four distinct yet interconnected themes:

    Liberation. Conservatism. Masculinity. Sensuality.

Each element serves as a lens, revealing how Black women embody contrast and duality—moving seamlessly between softness and strength, boldness and restraint, tradition and rebellion.
