AfroAmor: A Cultural Movement of Southern African Music in Germany

As the founder of AfroAmor, a Southern African music collective based in Berlin and London, I led the strategic development, event production, and brand growth of a movement that amplified Southern African music, connecting the diaspora to its culture - creating a space and experience to connect and enjoy the ‘home away from home’ formed during these events.

Through event organization, artist management, and creative collaboration, I curated and delivered monthly experiences featuring live DJs, instrumentalists, and dancers, showcasing the depth of Amapiano, Gqom, Afrotech, and Afro-House. These events not only introduced Southern African sounds to new audiences but also established AfroAmor as a recognized cultural hub for diasporic communities.

My role encompassed brand development, audience engagement, and partnership cultivation, ensuring AfroAmor’s presence extended beyond events into a sustainable platform for artists and music enthusiasts. By integrating marketing strategy, community building, and creative direction, I contributed to the collective’s growth, securing collaborations that expanded its influence across Europe.

This experience highlights my expertise in event production, brand management, and cultural storytelling, demonstrating my ability to build, scale, and sustain impactful creative projects.
